The Application Process.

To process your lease application we will need a completed application from you. Either on the form that you download or online. The advantage of the online application is that it is dynamic and varies according to the lease amount you want and the type of business applying. Any registered Company or Incorporated Body should choose the Limited Company application where a Company Number will be a prerequisite. For sole traders and partnerships the Individuals and Partnerships application should be completed. The third category is for Trusts & Others where the application will be assessed to properly confirm the legal status of the entity.

Once we have a fully completed application we can undertake our credit check. This will include verification of details provided, Baycorp credit bureau report and trade reference checks. For leases of more than $20,000 we will contact your accountant to obtain some basic trading and profit information. If the lease is over $35,000 we will require a set of financial accounts for the company.

For transactions under $5,000 processing time during normal office hours will typically be less than 20 ninutes. For leases between $5,000 and $20,000 a respose will be provided within the hour. Over $20,000, as we rely on contact with and responses from outside parties, the time can vary but should not take more than a day or two. However, if you have an urgent requirment contact us and let us know your time line and we will endeavour to meet it.

When the lease is approved, we will advise you and the supplier of your equipment. Once final price and equipment details are confirmed, we produce the documentation and email it to you for signature and return.
